Course Outline
Ø
This
course is aimed at bolstering the technical level of Engineers through the
understanding of current networking trends.
Ø
Training
is provided to design, install and configure D-Link networking products for
projects, bids and tenders.
Ø
A
hands-on practical is used to familiarize the participant with the products.
Ø
The
course helps the participants to be up-to-date
with the latest developments in the D-Link products and be prepared for the
same.
Ø Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to design, install and configure the appropriate D-Link networking products.
The Target Audience for this course is as follows:
Ø
The
participant should have a minimum of 2 years experience in networking Ø To fully benefit from this course, the participant should have a working knowledge of the listed technologies.
v Working knowledge of:
ü The OSI reference model. ü The differences between and functions of layer 2 and layer 3 devices
(Switches and
Routers)
ü
Spanning
tree protocol. ü Inter-domain routing protocols (RIP, static routes).
Ø In order to perform the practical lab exercises on the various D-Link products, each participant is advised to have the following personal hardware.
